We've found your next favorite pair of travel shoes, and they have a story
March 2016 

Three years ago, an American college student traveling in Turkey purchased a pair of handcrafted leather slippers from local Turkish cobblers. Little did he know his life was about to change.

Once his friends and family in the U.S. caught a glimpse of them, the obsession caught on. Channeling his inner entrepreneur, he launched The Sabah Dealer. (Sabah means "Turkish morning," by the way.) To this day, each pair is still made in Gaziantep by a family of crafters using the same hundred-year-old traditional craftsmanship. We're not sure if it's the vibrant variety of colors, the extremely high quality, or the video that actually made airport security seem inspiring...
